- Our Camping -
In the province Bács-Kiskun in southeastern Hungary, in the middle of the beautiful pusta, you will find our small family camping, close to nature.
   

Since january 2001 the wide area of the camping is marked as a preserved nature-reserve. It is wellknown in Hungary that the province of Bács-Kiskun is the area with the most sunny days and the least precipitation.

In early spring, round the end of March, the day temperature can already be very pleasant. The location of the campsite is ideal for taking long or short walks, through the surrounding wood and dune area.

 

You won't run into any traffic, but you will see wild animals like deer,foxes and wild hogs. Absolute silence and real dark nights with a beautiful star filled sky, is something you can still expirience here.

When you want to ride a bike around here, it is best done on a mountain bike.

 The setup of the camping.

To disturb the beautiful nature as less as possible we have a maximum of 20 campsites. There are enough rules and regulations in life, therefore we have the principal of "freedom and fun" on our camping.
  That feeling starts off with looking for a site. We don't have marked sites. You can find yourself a nice spot anywhere on the camping, both sun and shadow spots. The bathroom building has separate men- and women's bathrooms, each with 2 stalles and sinks, and 2 showers. 

On the backside of the building you will find two double sinks to do your dishes. In a separate area there is a disposal for your chemical toilet. We also have a washing machine. We have warm and cold running water(warm water is free). The building and facilities are wheelchair accessible and layed out following the European norm.
 

The old renovated Tanya(Farm) has a warm decorated meeting place/restaurant. The Tanya has a small bar, satelite tv, a stereo and many books and (board)games. You can also find a lot of information about trips and sights in this area.

Also in this meeting room the "free and fun" rule goes. It is your room and you take care of yourself. You keep track of your consumptions, and you will pay for those before departure.
 

Of course you will be waited on in our restaurant.
 

In our restaurant we serve our daily menu 6 days a week. You can have your dinner inside or outside.

We can also organize barbeque evenings, or have Birka Pörkölt made the traditional way by our, in this area wellknown, Birka Pörköltmester.

if enough participants, we serve Gulyás leves (goulash soup) from the Bogrács.

In the morning fresh warm rolls.

The swimmingpool, surrounded by a sunbathing area is open from 8am - 8pm

Breaker boxes with 6 amp. fuses are devided over the camping. Just in case you can bring an extra extension chord. The central barbeque place has a large barbeque and tables and benches, and is free to use for al our guests.

A complete decorated and roomy luxurious 2 person appartment with own entrance, a complete kitchenette, enough closet room, double bed, dining table- and chairs. Comfortable livingroom seats, a stereo, satelite TV and a big bathroom. There is lawn furniture for outside. Rent includes: Sheets and towels.

A complete decorated 2 person trailer with a big attachable tent. Also there is a kitchen complete bathroom, fridge, enough closets and a safe. The attachable tent comes with lawn furniture.
The trailer has it's own spot close to the old farm.

Dogs are allowed on our camping, but as many dogs as guests would be a bit too much so therefore the amount of dogs has to be limited and only after consultation on forehand.

In case of (medical) emergencies there is a englisch speaking doctor.
